The 2008 election brought an astounding victory, and with it, a tragic set of defeats for the progressive movement. The electing of Senator Barack Obama is no doubt historic. Yet this does not by any means reflect the transcendence of racism in this country.

Spend the Bailout Money on the Middle Class.
